Dear Dr. Arora,

Very nice to meet and talk with you this morning after your Stanford Grand Rounds' excellent talk "Medicine Grand Rounds: Democratizing Knowledge to Reduce Disparities in Healthcare – Project ECHO" - http://medicinecalendars.stanford.edu/event/medicine-grand-rounds-democratizing-knowledge-to-reduce-disparities-in-healthcare-project-echo/.

When might be some good possible times to potentially talk on the phone about Project ECHO and World University and School's planned online Medical Schools and teaching hospitals in all countries and their official and main languages?

Looking forward very much to talking further with you. Thank you.

All the best,
Scott

Dear Scott
It was a pleasure to meet you in Stanford. Thanks for attending.

I am requesting Marilyn to set up a time for us to speak.

Warm regards
Sanjeev

Dear Sanjeev, (Marilyn and Erika),

Thank you for your email, Sanjeev, and likewise! What a great and inspiring Stanford Grand Rounds you shared. And Project ECHO also seems quite well developed here - http://echo.unm.edu/about-echo/stafffaculty/ - with a huge staff. Perhaps exploring a collaboration with CC MIT OCW-centric World University and School and re our plans to be in each of all ~200 countries' official (and main languages), with online medical schools and teaching hospitals (and for space, ship and wilderness medicine too), would make it possible for us together to help many many people, and for you to achieve your goal of reaching 1 billion people.

Looking forward to talking.

Warm regards, Scott

Dear Marilyn, Sanjeev and Erika,

Thank you for your email, Marilyn. (And please call me Scott). I'll be traveling on August 1st, so August 3rd at 1:00 pm Pacific/2:00 pm Mountain Time would be best for me (and August 4th would work for me too as a backup).

As a template or blueprint for planning purposes, and for your information, here are the beginning CC MIT OCW-centric wiki WUaS Medical School - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/World_University_Medical_School - and the beginning WUaS teaching hospital - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Hospital - planned online in all countries' official and main languages; WUaS is moving to a new wiki emerging from CC Wikidata, which is CC Wikipedia's database for its 358 languages, so the data generation possibilities for these are enormous. WUaS is also planning Clinical Trials at WUaS (for all languages - potentially 7,099 living languages) - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Clinical_Trials_at_WUaS_(for_all_languages). See the "Select Links" wiki subjects on each of these pages to see further how WUaS will develop as a wiki subjects for open teaching and learning, thus further democratizing knowledge - part of the title of your Stanford Grand Rounds' talk, Sanjeev (as you know).

Since MIT itself doesn't have a Medical School (or a Law School), and hence very few of its ~2300 CC MIT OCW courses in English are in these areas, WUaS is very interested in exploring collaborating further greatly not only with your Project ECHO, but also with Stanford Medicine (and Stanford Law) themselves, in order to create CC OCW in these areas, and in eventually in each of all nation states' official languages, in order to help these countries with excellent online medicine and law. Stanford Law and Medicine already have a fair number of international law projects along these lines actually, but not organized country by country and in their languages.

WUaS is also CC licensed on our non-profit wing which allows us to "share,""adapt" but "non-commercially" CC-4 MIT OCW in its 7 languages, and WUaS is developing a new for-profit wing (for which we've already filed the Articles of Incorporation) which will partly grow out of CC-0 Wikisource (part of the CC Wikimedia/Wikipedia family) and which allows for "commercial" use of this open data for a planned online bookstore (e.g. for textbooks) and an academic press, for example. To recap, CC4 MIT OCW allows WUaS to "share,""adapt" but "non-commercially" and CC0 Wikisource allows WUaS to use this data for "commercial" purposes, as I understand this. I hope all this context and information help.

Please let me know what time to talk works best for you, and I look forward to talking with your further about some of this in early August, Sanjeev. Thank you for your inspiring and excellent Grand Rounds' talk at Stanford recently.

Thank you.

Best, Scott

Dear Sanjeev,

For your information, I've blogged about your Stanford Grand Rounds' talk here - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/06/bezoar-ibex-capra-aegagrus-stanford.html - and a bit here - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/06/nesiostrymon-inspiring-mahesh-kale-live.html. See, too, the "medicine" blog label here for further World University and School medicine ideas, as well.

Very nice to have met you, and to further make contact here. Thank you.
