There's Kirtan (which is "a group singing and music-making experience, involving ancient Sanskrit chants") at Harbin Hot Springs ... and re my http://bit.ly/HarbinBook too.

How does Kirtan relate to Raga in Indian classical music?

While Kirtan isn't raga, "certain Ragas can be used to sing certain Kirtans or chants for a deeper meditation."
http://www.kaminimusic.com/indianragasforkirtans/

Kirtanis a more structured team performance, typically with a call and response musical structure, similar to an intimate conversation. It includes two or more musical instruments,[43][44] and incorporates various ragas such as those associated with Hindu gods Shiva (Bhairava) or Krishna (Hindola).[45]
