1 hold tablet up to ceramic stump on gallery floor - bar code connects

2 see augmented reality in tablet

3 see virtual text description of AR

4 see artist's flower painting on wall, upon which the AR flower is based.

Grant Kirkpatrick did the multimedia, and Ginny Ruffner, the flower paintings. 

Good exploratory use of AR in major museum :)

Have been intending to do a blog post about visiting the Renwick museum, (and related virtual experiences even), and other museums in DC with you for a while, and will add all the good photos I took to this, and may send some along as well, if it isn't easy for you to download them! (Perhaps by Sunday!) Memories are an interesting avenue to head in too with family history at some point. How best to do this in a focused way even? :)

P.S.: Your email here came when I was on a great walk out the 'ridge road' near where I live in Canyon 94516 in East Bay MUD (Municipal Utilities District) ... which is basically at least a 7 miles' long drive in green wood south from where I live to out of the 'park', (and contains Oakland's San Leandro water reservoir ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Bay_Municipal_Utility_District) ... with amazing views of the tops of mountains (like Mt Diablo) around here with NO houses or development on them due to great late urban planning. While there are no houses atop these big hills and ranges, there are big cities all around too including Lafayette, Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton ... and quite a few more ... all fairly new large cities too, and close to the rest of the SF Bay Area cities. :) ... It's 331 square miles of watershed with about 7 reservoirs -
