Hi Kate,

Thanks for your timely article - "Teaching intelligence: how to take your classes online" ... https://www.timeshighereducation.com/career/teaching-intelligence-how-take-your-classes-online. I read a Singaporean cultural view in it a bit - regarding test-taking.

Where do you head in your thinking with the Conference Method of Teaching and Learning - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Conference_Method_of_Teaching_and_Learning - as well as 'Assessment and Grading at WUaS as Part of Conversation in Learning' -  https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Assessment_and_Grading_at_WUaS_as_Part_of_Conversation_in_Learning?

And where do you head, too, with creating an online culture of inspiring learning via inquiry in group video +? (Am curious how to teach or create Reed College's approach to the Conference Method and with its Honor Principle - https://www.reed.edu/honor_principle/ - online, and in all ~200 countries' official languages at MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch, and with paper writing and connecting between faculty and students in small groups, informing online culture). Such connections can lead to inspiration in learning as conversation, with the text or the experiment, for example, and with each other.

And do you happen to know Charlie Carroll at NUS as well? https://biography.omicsonline.org/singapore/national-university-of-singapore/charles-carroll-1297037 and https://www.singaporetech.edu.sg/directory/faculty/charles-carroll Charlie is also a co-founder of the UC Berkeley Tourism Studies Working Group in which I've given talks too.

Am curious too how one can teach faculty to teach the conference method? Looking forward to communicating further about all of this, Kate. And thank you!

Best (and SF Bay Area greetings),
Scott

Am curious if in these two articles there's a possible narrative about approaches to responding to, or policing even, sex offenders (and the global illicit 'sex trade') in some or many of ~200 countries even? ...

Could this photo here - https://www.stern.de/wirtschaft/horst-von-buttlar/coronavirus--die-welt-ist-schockgefroren---wir-werden-sie-wieder-auftauen-9180754.html - be emblematic of the global illicit sex trade in any way, possibly ? (And how to protect people from becoming victims, and from losing their human rights - and even provide legal help as well as an income to help them become free from victim-hood, etc.?)

Hi Dominic, and Lindsay, and All,

I hope this finds you all well, and nice to see some of you at the Garden Party last October.

Dom and Lindsay, - in regards to my request ...

It was nice to have your kids come and visit last October, Ants, Koh, Chunyu and Masha - at the Garden Party in a Box! More later. Thank you.

Best, Scott

Hi Barbara and Patti, Glory and Ed, and Byron, All,

Just shared this with my neighbors, who live in the dwelling below, and some friends who came to Garden Party here last October with their kids:

Am curious with the National Emergency that was just called, whether something will be done 'to police even' sexual offenders, and even the illicit sex trade (see, too - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/03/caterpillar-teaching-intelligence-how.html) in the upcoming months.

Friendly regards, Scott

PS
Not only is CC-4 MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch seeking to develop online virtual choirs and real, real time music-making, but also online Medical Schools - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Medical_School - (in each of ~200 countries' official languages), and with online teaching hospitals, and potentially in collaboration with Stanford, since MIT doesn't have a medical school (or a law school).
