Join with Google Meet 11/16/20 in 5 minutes at 10 am Pacific Time here - meet.google.com/xgz-nwhx-kmq ~

Glad to have just found 2 robotics' courses in edX.org, by searching in its catalog -

More will come, and are part of the WUaS Engineering major, and others - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Engineering ~

The first one shows Lego robotics, and where WUaS Educational Services' Store is an 'authorized' carrier - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/AcademicPress.html -

Dear Houcemeddine, Lydia, Markus and All,

Thank you for joining the WUaS Google Meet today just now, Houcemeddine, Prem and Nicolai!

Houcemeddine, I'm attaching the edX .xls file with its 2,500 courses, which World Univ & Sch is now partnering, and per your planning to develop WUaS's website further with an installation of WikiBase / Wikidata. Thank you!

I recently today went to a number of WUaS's Miraheze MediaWiki pages, and saw this new DIALOGUE BOX message:

"This wiki has been closed because there have been no edits or logs made within the last 60 days. This wiki is now eligible for being adopted. To adopt this wiki please go to Requests for adoption and make a request. If this wiki is not adopted within 6 months it may be deleted. Note: If you are a bureaucrat on this wiki you can go to Special:ManageWiki and uncheck the "closed" box to reopen it."

... here, for example - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Foundation - _ but I have edited this a number of times within the past 2 months, and here - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Subjects - but while I've visited these pages many times recently, and - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Engineering - I haven't edited them.

What is happening, and, Houcemeddine, could you possibly begin to adapt WUaS Miraheze MediaWiki in new ways per what we just talked about for 1.25 hours in the Google Meet?

And how to plan for WUaS registering students in a WUaS Wikidata / Wikibase franchise, each a Wikidata Q-item # or similarly forked Wikidata Pin # (and for 7.8 billion people eventually for these - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2019/12/wild-pomegranate-burchellia-bubalina.html - and other reasons).

I haven't ever been able to log in as Admin to the WUaS Miraheze MediaWiki, and also can't make the changes this new DIALOGUE BOX suggests, which changes I might be able to make if I were able to log in.

Looking forward to further communication about this, and to getting the WUaS home page - worlduniversityandschool.org - going for matriculation / registration for free-to-students' CC-4 best STEAM OpenCourseWare-centric edX courses and Bachelor degrees beginning in January 2021. Thank you again for joining the Google Meet, Houcemeddine, especially.

Best regards, Scott

Dear Matthew and Houcemeddine,

(Marissa, Carolina and Cameron in BCC),

Thank you for this edX catalog, Matthew - and about edX course length for matriculating WUaS students beginning in January 2021. I'm sharing it with Houcemeddine in Tunisia, who's a medical student, and a Wikidata engineer for medicine, and who is kindly taking on developing our World Univ & Sch website development further - worlduniversityandschool.org - and for matriculating WUaS students this January 2021. I'd like to introduce you to one another here - https://www.linkedin.com/in/houcemeddine-turki-80305834/ - https://www.linkedin.com/in/matthewgusching/ - scottmacleod.com - and Larry Viehland - https://chatham.edu/academics/undergraduate/chemistry/faculty/larry-viehland.html. WUaS is very glad to be partnering with you / edX.

And thanks, Matthew, for the information re credit verification -  "For credit verification, courses labeled MicroBachelors in Column E are credit barring ... " that MicroBachelors in Column E are NOT ACCESSIBLE FOR CREDIT which WUaS will have to code for in our upcoming web site.

Matthew, in WUaS seeking to license and accredit with edX courses with CA's BPPE for licensing (https://twitter.com/CaBPPE), and WASC senior for accreditation (https://twitter.com/wascsenior) which also accredits Stanford and UC Berkeley and other University of Californias, WUaS is seeking to plan for both developing IDENTITY VERIFICATION of students, brainstorming-wise, in all ~200 countries, and in their official / main languages, and for PROCTORED EXAMS at edX (for licensing/ accreditation). In what ways could this edX course catalog help with the latter, in particular, and with Houcemeddine beginning to create a WUaS Wikidata / Wikibase installation to begin developing WUaS in Wikipedia's 300 languages and re edX's 15-20 languages for courses - for undergraduate students in January 2021?

Thinking in terms of WUaS Languages, it's possible that Carolina McGarity at edX, who speaks Spanish natively, will be able to help focus WUaS's development in Spanish language.

Our WUaS website is updated with info about how students can apply, and send transcripts etc - worlduniversityandschool.org - and I'm hopeful that Houcemeddine will be able to use it - and this edX course catalog - as a basis for improving our WUaS website, and in conjunction with Wikidata / Wikibase (re Wikipedia), and for students in all ~200 countries.

Thank you,

Scott

Hi Pin,

How are you doing?

This amazing - "Blind Faith" (1969) - popped up in Youtube after listening to an Allman Brothers' concert today with Duane Allman, from 1970 -
Blind Faith - 2001
and it's longer and has more great music than just the vinyl did.

Good day today for WUaS, and we may have a new acting head of IT from Tunisia, and eventually in Arabic too (and with whom I talked with around 18-24 months ago in Skype; he's a medical student there), and helping to develop the updated WUaS website - worlduniversityandschool.org - newly with Wikidata Wikibase for matriculating students taking edX courses (with which WUaS is partnering:).

... lovely person ❤

Fond regards, Scott
