Greens as a major party in a central Country in Europe (of 83 million)
Dear Tym, Sid, Ma, John, All,
Chancellor election on Sunday 9/26 in Germany after 16 years with Angela Merkel.
In these very unfamiliar coalition politics, a
1) red-green-red coalition may be possible. And
2) will Olaf Scholz (red) win, over the Green's Annalena Baerbock (green) and the conservative's Armin Laschet (black - not the other red party, but in the same CDU party as Merkel herself) to become the actual leader of Germany, the chancellor of the Bundestag? Am appreciative of Merkel. Here's an article -

... (Did I sublet from a Marianne sp? Maas, same name as Foreign Minister Heiko Maas in Park Merced SF in around 1993, when I travelled to New Zealand to visit my parents who were on a 6 month sabbatical there (and, thanks to my mother's ingenuity who found a woman living like 'the old lady in shoe" English nursery rhyme (https://www.fairytaletown.org/attractions/the-old-woman-in-the-shoe/), ... got an amazing pair of kilt socks knit in about 48 hours, ... after Marion Maas sent some pieces of kilt thread from my 1976-ish kilt in SF to us in NZ? MAYBE - and, long memories's wise, could they be related, - and was Marion even possibly a 'swinger' ? ... although I don't ... Angela Merkel is leaving a cordial discourse and conversation it seems - n'est-ce pas? ... A tribute to her I think ... And could we even collaborate on MIT OCW wiki World University and School in October even when she's free? :)

(I didn't know 'Romance with a Double bass' was a Chekov comedy :) and might some WUaS students eventually intern in the (virtual) US government, Tym, & Pin, in 2076, the 300th celebration of American independence ? :) ... if - it's a big iff - geneticists get their act together, and we get an aging reversal genetic drug therapy sooner than later :) (Some of us would be about 116 years old - still under the 122 yo upper limit of aging per Jeanne Calment).

While a red green red coalition would be kind of xmasy (and progressive and generous), a red green black (SPD Greens CDU) coalition would be a bit Kenya-y or Afghanistan-y (was this withdrawal an intl German diplomatic success, and foreign policy wise, re Angela Merkel's CDU??) whereas a red green yellow coalition (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaica_coalition_(politics) ) would be Jamaica-y a bit, and more conservative too) ... And would the CDU (black - one of the very different from USA conservative parties in Germany - Christian Democratic Union of Germany - and Merkel's rather was a pastor by the way) bring a foreign policy approach to this coalition that die Linken - The Left party (red) doesn't have?
I've seen re the green black yellow coalition the 'Jamaica' idea in print in these German coalitions' election context too. What are other possibilities, and is Angela Merkel helping frame for the nation state of Germany these coalition possibilities' News' coverage, with her skill and experience as chancellor for 16 years? (CDU is her and Laschet's party) ... And I think she'll still be in this German leadership discourse for the foreseeable future with a desk in the 'parliamentary' buildings, and a driver, after her chancellorship is over ... a red green orange coalition ? re information age party (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirate_Party_Germany) ?:) The Greens are in the center ... And a major party - at least news' media-wise in a central Country in Europe (of 83 million).
