Greetings from CC-4 OCW.MIT.EDU -centric Wiki WorldUniversityAndSchool.org. I'm writing to inquire about the possibility of Co-Working Space at the Carnegie library in Oakland. I'm glad to write that Richard, the manager today there, gave me your email address and I'm following up with you about this.
WorldUniversityAndSchool.org actually began in the Carnegie Library in Oakland in 2006 or 2007, when I was living here for 2 years, (while my father was impaired and then passed away). I gave a public talk about Work World University and School in the Carnegie library to a few people, mostly from the Pittsburgh QuakerQuaker Friends' Meeting in Shady Side. (I also went to high school in Pittsburgh PA in the 1970s, and am moving back to Pittsburgh to be in the area with my mother).
I'm moving back to Pittsburgh from the SF BAY AREA, California, and now with startup WorldUniversityAndSchool.org as 3 legal entities, a 501 c 3 federal tax exempt charity legal entity, and 2 legal entities in California.
I'm wondering if I could please hold a WUaS Co-Working Space in various places in the Carnegie Library in Oakland, let people in Pittsburgh PA know about this, and occasionally hold 1-1 meetings in the small pods that Richard mentioned or the meeting spaces / rooms on the 2nd floor with open ceilings, - and very quietly due to audibility issues.
World University and School seeks to offer (due to OCW.MIT.EDU MIT OCW's Creative Commons 4 licensing, and CC-4 LICENSED 'CS FIRST WITH GOOGLE AT WUaS' programming language projects and courses) Free-to-students' online WUAS Bachelor PhD Law MD IB degrees, eventually in each of all 200 countries in the world, and in their main languages, but first in English beginning with Bachelor degrees from home. WUaS is still very much a startup, and has no money to speak of whatsoever, but is optimistic that this will develop now that THESE 3 legal entities are coming full circle and finally have engagement from the state of California 's Franchise Tax Board and the US FEDERAL GOVERNMENT as a 501 c 3.

I've signed up beginning Friday 10/14 at noon (and Gene Deal was a faculty member when I was there). I don't think I have ever been to my high school's Homecoming.... Am a bit of a rebel then and now I think. :)
It occurs to me that the Shady Side Academy senior school could accredit with the Middle States' Commission on Higher Education, and that they might even have accreditation writers in the wings.
So having found this event tomorrow -
to meet these folks, I've signed up for this (and it's free too).
Am curious how people from these groups will potentially join the WUaS Co-Working space band too!
Am wondering again what steps the Pittsburgh QuakerQuaker Meeting is taking with regards to protecting people innocents kids women men and victims and from even C-J purveyors, offenders, pedophiles and perpetrators... and haven't gotten a read on this yet... Am still alive and in calling for abolition of the illegal drug and the sex industries internationally and their latent networks of violence, and somewhat (dramatically?) living in Pittsburgh PA now. Am wondering too how state of California and federal government legal processes working together with state senator's office in Orinda in district 7 are protecting people innocents or whether Canyon may me needing international law and law enforcement help regarding possibly kinds of organized crime circles. Abolition has helped and will helped protect a lot of people, over the centuries even!
