Hi Nasi, Maddi and Jayne,
Thanks again for participating in WUaS monthly business meeting on Saturday on the phone, Nasi! So glad you joined the conversation, and please join again on June 13th (2nd Saturdays of the month).
Here again are the beginning "India World University and School" -
the "Hindi language World University and School" (not yet in Hindi) -
"India Law School at WUaS" -
As wikis (editable web pages), you're welcome and invited to start teaching at, editing and developing these online schools, - and as WUaS moves toward planning for accreditation.
And please let friends in India know about upcoming online free best STEM-centric undergraduate degrees (based on CC MIT OpenCourseWare and CC Yale OpenYaleCourses), first in English (and later potentially in Hindi and other large languages in India), where they would apply this autumn 2015 here -
http://worlduniversity.wikia. com/wiki/Admissions_at_World_ University_and_School - and matriculate / enroll in the autumn of 2016 online at WUaS (from their high school rooms over 4 years) to take ~ 36 courses and graduate in 2020 or so.
Jayne S, whom I've included in this email, is on the WUaS board, and originally from Mumbai, and living in San Francisco now. (Hi Jayne! :)
Tomorrow evening (W 5/13) I'll be attending two Stanford events so won't be at Hack Night SF at Code for America on 9th Street, but WUaS is very interested in growing our SF Bay Area Hindi speaking community with, for example, students at Stanford and UC Berkeley and learners and teachers or all ages!
Friendly regards,
Scott
