How soon can we go public? - is one main guiding question (and if in each of all ~200 countries' languages, which first?).

Get an online bookstore (with academic press) up and running soon, in one country, and develop an all ~200 countries' plan.

You, as lead director?

Please feel free to invite possible Board members (we're aiming for 7 with portfolio diversity, skills' diversity, continent diversity and revenue-generating diversity - and ethnic diversity), and Officers e.g. CEO, CFO, CTO, COO, Head Admin?

Developing process between the World University and School monthly business meeting, and the WUaS Corp monthly board meeting - both hour-long only if we can do this. Both L and I would like to step back from the WUaS Corporation, as you may know, but we also have the history and trajectory in mind thus far - and I'd love to be able to talk over some months with an effective CEO and CTO etc with their growing teams ...

My talk proposal "World University and School: Online Medical Schools and Teaching Hospitals in ~200 countries’ official languages" has been accepted for Stanford Medicine X around April 28th ... but WUaS doesn't really have the monies whatsoever to register for this conference, so it looks like I won't be able to do this at this point. Since I would give this talk in the Stanford Medical School, and re WUaS online medical schools with teaching hospitals with clinical care - all relating to WUaS Corps' hospital/STEM technologies in all ~200 countries (https://worlduniversityandschool.blogspot.com/2017/06/wuas-corporations-10-planned-for-profit.html) - this could be a WUaS Corporation talk too. Part of a marketing plan?

"Knowledge Panel" re Google for the WUaS Corp ... when searched upon (search on B's Eye Institute where the K.P. is the box to the right) ... and open into the Google business world here - including planning potentially for a cryptocurrency with block chain ledger, since WUaS has an all ~200 countries' official languages' plan, and all 7,099 living languages' plan (and possibly for listing on all ~200 stock markets in their countries) - and re hospital insurance too? WUaS is planning online law schools for this, and hopes that both Stanford Medicine OCW and Law OCW in each of all ~200 countries' languages will emerge on the nonprofit CC-4 (MIT) OpenCourseWare World University and School wing.

Will do. With you as potential lead director, please think of items to add to the agenda (which will emerge from my email below yesterday).

Since this is basically the 2nd WUaS Corp Board meeting (the first one having occurred in August 2017), and WUaS Co plans to allot shares to Board members for participation (see recent World Univ & Sch minutes) at A) Board meetings, and B) meetings between Board and Officers, I'll plan to invite K and L (as acting WUaS Co CFO) to this meeting on Wednesday electronically, but not J at this time (since he's an officer), and let the Board arrange when next to meet with J or a new CEO. J is still the titular CEO of WUaS Co, but could move to become the European WUaS Co CEO, the Romanian WUaS Co CEO, or the head of translation of the Academic Press, for example.

And C) WUaS would like to begin hiring Stanford graduate students and post-docs soon - grow our team. For example, I met at a far-reaching Stanford talk this morning, Jiemen Jiang, who could help code the realistic virtual universe for physics' questions. (Jiemen was Rami Younis' first Ph.D. student at the University of Tulsa - https://events.stanford.edu/events/746/74629/ - and Rami has 3 degrees from  Stanford, and both are physics' quants and coders, I think).

Let's add these three items to the agenda as well - much to do in an hour.

Outlining some initial responses to your agenda in advance below.  Please remember that there are two legal entities here: A) the for profit general stock company, the WUaS Corp and B) the nonprofit 501 (c) (3) World University and School. The WUaS Corp is an educational services company for World Univ & Sch. 

1. Review mission/goals of WUaS: how are we different from other similar organizations

WUaS Corporation plans to generate 11.5% annual returns (and also plans to parallel the long term average of the S&P 500) in perpetuity, around these 10 planned for profit revenue streams - http://worlduniversityandschool.blogspot.com/2017/06/wuas-corporations-10-planned-for-profit.html (out of 14 total for World University and School) - in each of all ~200 countries and in all 7,099 living languages, each an academic market. While the WUaS Corporation is a separate legal entity with a separate Board and Officers, these are all educational services in support of wiki CC MIT OCW-centric and CC Yale OYC-centric World University and School - http://worlduniversityandschool.org - which has a several trillion dollars’ endowment goal. World University and School is also like Wikipedia in 299 languages with CC-4 MIT OCW in 5 languages, and seeks to develop in all ~200 countries' official languages as major online degree-granting universities - for online Bachelor, Ph.D., law, M.D. and I.B. high school degrees - and in all 7,099 living languages as wiki schools for open teaching and learning. 

While there aren't any other organizations I know of like this, the WUaS Corp seeks to create academic markets in all 7,099 living languages.

In the big picture, I'm interested in a "whole system" approach to collaboration with you and Stanford Medicine in developing "World University and School: Online Medical Schools and Teaching Hospitals in ~200 countries’ official languages" and re - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Nation_States - and re a meeting I had with Stanford Chair of Medicine, Bob Harrington MD last autumn. I'll followup with some details later. Thank you.

I'm glad to say that Stanford Medicine X has accepted a paper I proposed for late April: "World University and School: Online Medical Schools and Teaching Hospitals in ~200 countries’ official languages," although I'm not sure whether I'll be able to register or not.

Online clinical care would emerge in a Project ECHO-informed platform with a focus on bringing specialists to rural populations in group video conferencing with a mentoring aspect - and perhaps focusing on most common internal medicine diagnoses and treating these in new ways online, for example, to begin. Courses in the medical school, seminars, or conference method, could also occur in a Project ECHO-informed platform. And, at some point in the future, online clinical care could also emerge out of a Project Baseline into 3D interactive avatar bots at the street view, cellular and atomic levels too.

Stanford Medicine has thousands of MDs, Stanford's Paul Pitlick MD said at Grand Rounds to me on Wednesday, with interns, residents, post docs and in all its divisions. On the order of 10,000 I asked? Many of these could be prospective faculty and clinicians in this WUaS model - and in all ~200 countries' official languages eventually - and in developing STEM / medical translation even, re the Stanford Medicine Annual Report - http://medicine.stanford.edu/annual-report-2018.html.

At a key coding moment for World University and School, WUaS seeks to code for all 7.5 billion people / learners / Universitians / as well as re the blockchain / a cryptocurrency (what comes are the dollar?) and even, especially, an universal basic income, perhaps as a way too not only to help people, but also spread, and code for in via our online law schools in all ~200 countries' official languages - such data developments as the block chain in all nation states. Planning-wise, this could be combined with this growth story of Stanford Medicine.

Part of this might include, ways in which Stanford Medicine could build an alternative to EPIC (which may be used by about ~50% of the hospitals in the US, but doesn't take into account the other ~200 countries) - and re Project Baseline?

While this WUaS plan is a potential co-template, I suspect that Stanford, with its significant Computer Science history and its links with Google/Alphabet - and in the information technology age - would create this in very remarkable ways that goes well beyond this.

As part of WUaS's plans for research, a major area for WUaS in general, we would like to develop an online approach to clinical trials in all ~200 countries and all 7,099 living languages - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Clinical_Trials_at_WUaS_(for_all_languages) - which would be designed as part of this "whole system" and re the emergent block chain ledger as well. 

While this WUaS plan is a potential co-template, I suspect that Stanford Medicine has many related building blocks in its MD "black bag" / its past. And I think that Stanford itself with its significant Computer Science history and its links with Google/Alphabet and Apple, for example, and Silicon Valley - and in the midst of information technology revolution - would create this in very remarkable new ways that goes well beyond the above plan / blueprint.

As a followup, it's partly combining Project ECHO -- specialist MDs to rural populations in group video with a mentoring compoenent -- with Project Baseline (which I think recently actually moved into Stanford Medicine) -- physical samples / specimens taken at first in the clinic into a map or chart for wellness and good health (and to eventually inform avatar bots?) -- all of which WUaS would like to build into WUaS's planned online medical schools with online teaching hospitals in all ~200 countries' official/main languages. (I've been in touch with both Bob Harrington MD in person about all of this, as well as with Sanjeev Arora MD of Project ECHO, and Jessica Mega MD of Project Baseline, in email communication).

While Stanford is beautiful, and its talks fascinating, I'd rather be doing further ethnographic field work at Harbin Hot Springs (https://twitter.com/HarbinBook), however, - and as a MIT Media Lab professor. Still haven't heard back yet about my Media Lab faculty application - which means I haven't heard no also.  I hope to be in Cambridge this autumn, and return to the Bay Area in January for further field work.

Hi Muneer, The Ramallah Friends' Schools is taught in Arabic in K-12 with more English in high school. It's an international baccalaureate school with a standard recognized around the world. It's also been Quaker since the late 1800s (kind of a Switzerland in that part of the world possibly) and it's considered by some to be the best high school in the Middle East, with students from many countries coming there.
Some students then come to the US to attend college after Ramallah Friends' Schools, to some of the highest achieving universities here (in US).
WUaS would like to create online high schools and universities in all countries' in the middle east and in Arabic for free MIT OpenCourseWare-centric online degrees.

Thank you for giving me the book "Indigenous Tourism Movements" which you and Alexis edited. I enjoyed reading you epilogue (e.g. interesting syndrome, and universities) in this new 2018 book. He's one of the founders of the Semantic Web - http://korrekt.org/ - I think and is now the main structured knowledge database heads at Wikidata/Wikibase, which is Wikipedia's "back end" in 299 languages. His Semantic Web papers could be very helpful here- https://iccl.inf.tu-dresden.de/web/Wissensbasierte_Systeme/en - and as a Professor of this in Dresden, his team is growing. He's  "lead of the Wikidata data model specification and research group leader at Technische Universität Dresden, Dresden, Germany" (https://cacm.acm.org/magazines/2014/10/178785-wikidata/fulltext).

While World University and School is like Wikipedia in 299 languages plus CC-4 MIT OpenCourseWare in 5 languages, we seek to develop in all 7,099 living languages, nation state by state - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Nation_States - each a major online university in the countries' language. The linguistic A.I. that emerges from this will be significant to your work, Mark, I think. We donated ourselves to Wikidata for co-development in 2015, and are also in Google Education, and are very Google-ecosystem centric e.g. re TensorFlow and Google Translate (GNMT), conceptually.

Here's the Semantic_Web wiki subject page for open teaching and learning - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Semantic_Web (planned in all countries' official/main languages) - before it moves into our new Miraheze Mediawiki wiki - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University - with Wikidata/Wikibase structured knowledge database (of which Markus Kroetzasch is the lead) as our "backend." So main ideas of the Semantic Web will probably be built in here to Wikidata's "ontology." There's at least one MIT OpenCourseWare course here, for example, with an invitation to add further courses or resources, and make this Semantic Web wiki "school" grow - and develop a generative conversation. The MIT OCW courses and their like will eventually be offered for credit for free, CC-4 OCW-centric online university degrees (Bachelor, Ph.D., Law, MD and I.B. high school) ... and in each of all ~200 countries' official languages - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Nation_States

Having met Penny, Lea and Andrea at their Stanford presentation recently, and received an email from Penny (below), I'm writing to ask if you could please begin to set up major online universities in each of their following languages, and a wiki school in Romansh, beginning with the following:

Andrea, might you please be able to help develop Italia WUaS in Italian, and a World University and School realistic virtual earth / universe for A) as field sites for STEM research/computer modeling, B) as classrooms, as C) nation states' incubators for startups, and as D) links from our Google Information Boxes on the 1) non-profit side to our related planned revenue streams, and 2) links on the WUaS Co for-profit side planned in ~200 countries' official languages directly to each stock market in all ~200 countries' languages (think ~200 countries of the Olympics) perhaps via a Cryptocurrency, plus many other foci? I can share with you the planned revenue streams in these regards when interested. (Think Google Street View with time slider/Maps/Earth & at the cellular & atomic levels with Minecraft/SL/OpenSimulator + too e.g. https://twitter.com/sgkmacleod/status/955218421267841024).

Alain, might you please be able to develop France WUaS in French, as well as Swiss WUaS in French?

Cyril, WUaS is interested in building in each of all of the SwissCom foci (see below) - https://www.swisscom.ch/en/business/start-up/collaboration/co-creation.html - but in quite specific ways, and with a developing cryptocurrency with blockchain ledger potentially with an universal basic income for all 7.5 billion people, partly as a way to spread a new international cryptocurrency, like the Euro comes after the Swiss franc.


I hope to be teaching at the MIT Media Lab this autumn (http://worlduniversityandschool.org/InfoTechNetworkSocGlobalUniv.html) and re World University and School planned in each of ~200 countries' official languages as major online universities, and in all 7,099 living languages as wiki schools for open teaching and learning; and also re developing a realistic interactive virtual Harbin/earth/universe re my two Harbin HOT SPRINGS books. I would then head back to the SF Bay Area for my Harbin project and MIT WUaS developments (with Stanford Medicine and Law too? ) out here for 7 months in January 2019, then back to Cambridge in autumn 2019.
