Winding Road Rainbow: Harbin, Wandering & the Poetry of Loving Bliss ~ ~ Paperback – December 14, 2018 by Prof Scott GK MacLeod III (Author)

Hi M,

Glad this is now available, and published by the Academic Press at World Univ & Sch ...

Winding Road Rainbow: Harbin, Wandering & the Poetry of Loving Bliss ~ ~ Paperback by Prof Scott GK MacLeod III (Author)

Today I think my favorite poems in this are :

Winding Road … and something like poetry came to me / 12
In the night I traveled north to Harbin / 17

The Poetry Commune at Berkeley / 93

Going to move WUaS monthly business meeting to 3rd Saturdays (a big move! after many years of 2nd Saturdays :) ... due to increasing number of Scratch drag and drop programming language MeetUps in SF, the next one on March 9th in the Exploratorium. Good networking opportunity, and WUaS will likely 'build out' with Scratch with Lego Robotics' WeDo 2.0 and Mindstorms EV3, since they work together ... and eventually for high school and college curriculums, building robots from home. Robotics like this are good for learning programming. Created some Tweets about this - https://twitter.com/WorldUnivAndSch/status/1091385455176634369 - https://twitter.com/WorldUnivAndSch/status/1091384942783688704 .

I've enjoyed making all the robots in WeDo 2.0 in the Lego guide, and using its block programming language, partly because the guide was so well thought out, and structured, and making things, now robots, is enjoyable. But I can't use Scratch 3 yet, because the my laptop's Operating System isn't current enough. I'll wait somewhat longer for Mindstorms EV3 and am interested too in online Lego Robotics' Hangouts with Scratch both for sociality and for innovating conversation. Am quite interested too in how this will all move into a realistic virtual earth - and re Brick Street View (the program Einar Olberg made to connect Lego Bricks with Google Street View :) (See Tweets below too :)

What are you up to this weekend?

L,
Scott
