baby Philippine flying lemur with mother (Cynocephalus volans): Might Google Earth as virtual world become a new kind of BOOK, a wiki-book even, in the future?, New developments at Google Books: Partner Program and the Library Project, I'd also like to explore publishing "Naked Harbin" in the upcoming Academic Press at WUaS planned for all languages ... as well as anticipating a universal translator ... as well as anticipating a 2nd Harbin book, and even a new form of a book based on what I'm calling "ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy" and in relation to developing comparative actual-virtual field work at Harbin on-the-ground and in a developing Google Earth virtual world

Dear Fred, and friends of my Harbin book publishing,

I'm interested in exploring publishing my actual-virtual Harbin manuscript vis-a-vis this Google Books' video -
https://www.google.com/googlebooks/partners/ - and web page, which says Google Books will be back soon. But Google Books has been "down" for about 2-3 months or so.
I'm curious to explore possibly publishing through Google Books, since the realistic interactive 3D virtual Harbin I hope to write about for my 2nd Harbin ethnographic book may find partial form in Google Earth.

I think Google Books would allow me to reach a more general audience (worldwide) than a specific publisher of sociocultural anthropological books, such as Berghahn Books. And publishing with Google Books could dovetail with both a) a WUaS Academic Press in all 7,929+ languages, b) an universal translator in same languages, and c) a virtual Earth/Harbin as unfolding wiki book.

See, for example - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2015/07/jerdons-courser-visit-harbin-gate-now.html.

(Might Google Earth somehow take on the form of a new kind of wiki-book even in the future?)

I'm curious for Google Books to be working again soon, and to explore what's possible there.

In the meantime, I'm looking for other publishers ...

Thanks,
Scott

It looks like there are some new developments on this Google Books' Partners' page - https://www.google.com/googlebooks/partners/ - when I just now looked ...

Where do the books come from?

Currently, we are connecting readers with books in two ways: the Partner Program and the Library Project.
